Resumen

A checklist of macrophytobenthos wrack species in five beaches located on the coast of East Havana municipality (Cojímar, Bacuranao, Tarará, Mégano, and Santa María) is presented. The sampling was made monthly from May 2018 to May 2019. Transects were situated parallel to the shoreline, so they contained 75% of the beach length.A quadrant of 25 x 25 cm was flipped perpendicularly to the transect until covering the width of the strip of macrophytobenthos shoal in the intertidal. All found species were recollected for identification in the lab. It was identified111 species, where were recorded 37 species inCojímar (ten Chlorophyta, 13 Ochrophyta, 12Rhodophyta, and two Tracheophyta), 44 species in Bacuranao (19 Chlorophyta, 12 Ochrophyta,11 Rhodophyta and two Tracheophyta), 64 species in Tarará (23 Chlorophyta, 16 Ochrophy-ta, 22 Rhodophyta and three Tracheophyta)y 73 species in Mégano (30 Chlorophyta, 20Ochrophyta, 19 Rhodophyta and four Tra-cheophyta) and 65 species in Santa María (31Chlorophyta, 14 Ochrophyta, 16 Rhodophytaand four Tracheophyta).
